Your Adventure Guide
I know that choosing the right holiday club for your child is important, and you may have a few questions before booking. Below, I've answered some of the most common queries about my nature-based holiday club, including what to bring, safety measures, and the exciting activities we might do.
If you don’t see the information you need, I'm happy to help. Please feel free to email me at booking@missbussey.co.uk, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
What age group is this club suitable for?
Our sessions are designed for children aged 5-12, with activities tailored to engage and inspire each age group.
Who will be running the sessions?
The club is led by an experienced teacher with a passion for outdoor learning, who is DBS-checked and first-aid trained.
What kind of activities will my child be doing?
Each session is packed with hands-on activities around a daily theme. We will have times to relax, be active and explore with curiosity.
What should my child bring?
I recommend dressing for the weather. Your child should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes, and bring a waterproof jacket if needed. A packed lunch, two snacks, refillable water bottle, and any necessary medication should also be packed.
What happens in bad weather?
I believe there’s no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing! Our sessions run rain or shine, with fun, safe activities adapted for all conditions. If extreme weather makes it unsafe, we will always have the village hall to shelter in.
Is my child safe outdoors?
My child has allergies or additional needs, can they still attend?
Absolutely! Safety is my top priority. I conduct thorough risk assessments, have clear boundaries, and limit spaces to ensure I can supervise all the children effectively.
We strive to be inclusive! Please inform me of any allergies, medical conditions, or additional needs when booking, so I can make necessary accommodations to ensure your child’s comfort and safety.
